Excursion Underground river and fabulous snorkeling in the lagoon tour at Cozumel Island

We reach the mainland to explore two incredible destinations in the Mayan Riviera: a spectacular underground river, swimming among incredible rock formations, and a fabulous lagoon where we snorkel in a real natural aquarium. A delicious lunch on the beach crowns this day full of emotions.

• At the pier in Cozumel, we board a ferry that takes us to Playa del Carmen, on the Yucatán coast, in the heart of the famous Mayan Riviera.
• Here our guide awaits us and together we board an air-conditioned minivan in small groups of maximum 12 people to reach the first destination of the excursion: a spectacular underground river where we an unforgettable adventure awaits.
• After a brief introduction on safety regulations and the use of equipment, we follow our guide on an adventurous exploration of the underground, walking through caves and tunnels, making our way by swimming in the waters crystal clear waters of the river that winds underground in meandering streams among suggestive rock formations, framed by stalactites and stalagmites that create a suggestive and surreal atmosphere.
• Our next destination is the splendid natural aquarium of Yal-Ku, a lagoon where the fresh water of the surrounding cenotes meets the salt water of the Caribbean Sea, becoming the ideal habitat for a huge variety of fish.
• We dive into the water for an unforgettable snorkeling session among colorful tropical fish, exploring the calm and transparent inlets of the bay which offers us a truly enchanting spectacle.
• At the end of this fantastic day, we enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach, immersed in a dream setting between sky, earth and sea. After a relaxing break, we continue the journey that takes us to Playa del Carmen and from here by ferry back to Cozumel.

• It is recommended to wear the costume under clothes, comfortable clothing and shoes and possibly non-slip shoes.
• Don't forget a towel, biodegradable sunscreen lotion, insect repellent, a change of clothes, underwater camera and cash.
• Minimum age: 8 years. Children up to 7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times and can only participate in some activities of the tour.
• You must know how to swim and be in good physical shape.
• The excursion is not recommended for pregnant women, guests who have mobility difficulties or who suffer from respiratory or heart problems, fainting or claustrophobia.
