Harvard Yard
Depart the pier for the approximate 30-minute tour through Historic Boston to Cambridge, site of the world-renowned Harvard University. Upon arrival at Harvard Square, take a guided stroll through the beautiful grounds and learn about the background of this historic, elite institution. Stop by the John Harvard Statue, the Georgian-style mansion of poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and along wealthy Tory Row.
Lexington
Next, re-board your coach for the drive past Mount Auburn, the gently-rolling hills of the countryside, and beautiful old colonial homes en route to Lexington and Concord. Upon arrival at Lexington Green, explore the site of a Revolutionary War battle and stop by the Visitor's Centre and Gift Shop.
Concord, North Bridge & Orchard House
Leaving Lexington, proceed past Author's Row to see country homes of such renowned 19-century authors as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Louisa May Alcott and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Stop at the Concord River for an opportunity to stand on the North Bridge, where colonial farmers-turned-soldiers fired upon the King's army. Your tour will conclude with a visit of Orchard House, the family home of Louisa May Alcott who wrote the famous American novel Little Women.
At the end of your visit, re-board your coach for approximately 45-minute sightseeing drive from Concord before arriving at the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, including grass surfaces on Lexington Green, and a gravel path leading to the North Bridge. It is not recommended for guests who utilise a wheelchair. Much of the sightseeing takes place from the coach. We recommend lightweight comfortable clothing, comfortable closed toed walking shoes and a camera. Order of sights visited may vary.
