Scenic Drive

Depart the pier for an enjoyable scenic, 90-minute drive along the Quai des Chartrons, cradle of the Bordeaux wine trade, and then through the 'Route des Châteaux' into Médoc. The Médoc landscape features vine-covered gravel rises as far as the eye can see. Vineyards, orderly and well-kept, produce some of the finest wines in the world.

Medoc classified wine estate Visit & Tasting

Upon arrival, learn about winemaking techniques and taste two of the wines produced on the estate. After your visit and wine tasting, re-board your coach for the short transfer to Chateau's restaurant.

Enjoy a three-course meal paired with some of the finest Bordeaux wines in one the most acclaimed restaurant of the Bordeaux and Medoc wine region, The Relais & Châteaux Château Cordeillan-Bages.

Afterwards seatbacks to enjoy the panoramic return drive to the pier.

This tour requires a moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 220 yards (about 200metres), with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but not for guests who utilise a wheelchair. However, there may be steps and/or stairs to negotiate at the wine château.
