Depart the pier for the short drive towards Playa San Juan (San Juan Beach). En route, pass by lovely Postiguet Beach. It is believed that San Juan, located in the heart of the fertile Huerta de Alicante, was likely selected as an early settlement by the ancient civilisations that came to these lands. Next, your panoramic drive passes by the beautiful Cabo de la Huerta, Monastery Santa Faz, and the Santa Barbara Castle before heading towards the city centre of Alicante. Once back in Alicante, some free time is made available at the Central Market for independent shopping and exploration. Afterward, your panoramic drive resumes past the Train Station and Canalejas Park, the oldest park in the city. At the conclusion of your tour, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.
