Excursion Runduma village and turtles tour at Bau-bau

Explore the land and waters of Anano Island, referred to as Thousand Turtles Island after the scores of sea turtles that lay their eggs here. Anano is part of the Wakatobi archipelago, and the island is famous for endangered species.
After arriving at the anchorage position, tender to the local jetty of Runduma village, where you can meet and greet with your guide and then take a walking tour around the village to see the daily activities of Butonese seafaring people. Explore their houses built on stilts and enjoy a refreshment of young coconut milk that served by the locals.
Re-board to the Zodiac and proceed to visit the turtle-nesting site (depending on the weather; if the swell is too big for the tender then return to the ship and move anchorage position close to the turtle conservation at Anano Island). Meet the ranger who gives a presentation about the turtle's conservation, and see the hatching process here.
Afterward, you'll have time to join your snorkeling guide to explore the beauty of underwater life or just simply enjoy beaching at the pristine white sandy beach until time to return to the ship.
