Note
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven, bumpy, sandy, and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, embark/disembark and maneuver in/out of the boat, and embark/disembark the kayak. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition, experienced kayakers, and can swim well in water over their head; the waters around the island can vary between deep and shallow. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory problems, guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilize a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up (a long light dress for females, and shorts and a t-shirt for males from port to open sea; regular swimsuits may be worn once on Baridi Island) with flat, closed-toe walking or water shoes they won’t mind getting wet. In addition, bring sun protection, insect repellent, a towel, bottled water, and a camera (bring a dry bag or waterproof camera) from the ship. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old. Infrastructure in Yanbu may be basic, and local conditions may be challenging; coaches, guides, hotels, restaurants, equipment, and services are the best-available in the area, but may not be up to the standards of those found at other ports. Therefore, we urge flexibility and understanding as we visit unique, less touristic destinations. Local authorities might check again your passport, as well as the border number you received at the entrance in the country during the excursion; this might require some waiting time. Beach chairs, umbrellas, life vests, kayaks, and snorkeling equipment are provided. The total swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking time is approximately three hours and it's non guided. Waterproof cameras are highly-recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, fish and marine life sightings are not guaranteed. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. The tour sequence may vary.
