Join us for an unforgettable 5-hour evening in the breathtaking Namib Desert. Depart the ship before sunset for a scenic one-hour drive into the dunes, where you’ll be surrounded by the striking landscape of golden sands and endless skies.

Begin with a sundowner featuring sparkling wine, Swakopmund oysters, and light snacks as you watch the sun set over the dunes, painting the landscape with warm hues. As night falls, arrive at the desert dinner under a star-lit sky. Soft lighting and countless candles reflecting off the dunes create a magical and intimate atmosphere.

After dinner, relax around a crackling fire, sharing stories and enjoying the peaceful, star-filled ambiance. This extraordinary experience combines natural beauty, exquisite cuisine, and captivating entertainment, leaving you with memories of a truly unique desert evening.

Note

Please note: This tour entails a moderate amount of walking over uneven and sandy surfaces. Off-road driving over bumpy and uneven natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the bus. Guests with limited mobility should be able to manage the walk with the aid of a spouse or other family member. To reach the desert dinner venue, a drive of approximately 60 minutes is required and and is conducted in a variety of vehicles. The final few miles into the desert require 4X4 vehicles to shuttle guests. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, sun hats, sunglasses and sun protection is recommended. Please remember to bring a jacket, as temperatures in the desert can drop significant at night. While it may be warm during the day, the evenings can be quite cool, so a light jacket or an extra layer will help keep you comfortable. This tour requires a minimum amount of guests to participate in order to operate.
