Depart the pier for the short drive to the Bec-Scie ecotorism site. Upon arrival and after a comfort stop, begin your guided, approximately 1.24-mile trek (about two-kilometre) along the Mars River. Your trail traverses an amazing canyon whose many different belvederes offering breath-taking natural landscapes. Along the way, your naturalist guide also discusses the natural environment, its fauna and flora, as well as the animals that inhabit it.

First Nations Traditions, Customs and Culture

During your walking tour, discover the lifestyle and land-use practices of the indigenous peoples and also learn about aboriginal traditions, customs and culture. At the conclusion of this unforgettable Bec-Scie experience, an easy walk takes you back through the forest and to your coach.

The tour concludes with approximately 20-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.5 miles (about 2.4 kilometres), at times over uneven and natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the sites visited. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a sweater or light jacket from the ship. The tour sequence may vary. The tour might operate on a Yellow School Bus depending on availability of the coaches.
