Depart the pier for the short drive to the water bus port. Upon arrival, embark your awaiting water bus for the approximately 50-minute ride to the outermost of the Rauma islands, Kylmapihlaja Lighthouse Island. This island is one of the pearls of the beautiful Rauma Archipelago, which consists of approximately 300 islands that form a key portion of the Bothnian Sea National Park. Despite its somewhat barren, windswept feel, the lighthouse teems with life, especially during the birds' nesting season.

Upon arrival at Kylmapihlaja Lighthouse Island, take a guided walking tour. Along the way, learn about the Rauma Archipelago, local wildlife and bird species of this lovely, yet desolate island, and enjoy spectacular views of the magnificent scenery from the Lighthouse's tower. In addition, learn about the Rauma Archipelago, Finnish flora and fauna, and history of the Kylmapihlaja Lighthouse. Following a stop for refreshments and magnificent views out to the Bothnian Sea, embark your water bus for the approximately 50-minute ride back to the water bus port. Upon arrival, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 875 yards (about 800 metres), at times over uneven and rocky surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, ten steps to embark/disembark the water bus, 15 steps at the restaurant and 100 steps to access the tower. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a weatherproof jacket from the ship; high-heels are not permitted. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
