Explore the beautiful village of Eidfjord on foot and taste some of the local delicacies.

Hardanger Bridge

Leave the pier on foot and walk towards the Hardanger Bridge. En route admire the local churches (outside visit only) and the waterfront connecting the Hardangerfjord with the Eidfjord Lake.

Local Tasting

Halfway through the walk, pause for a culinary experience at the Eidfjord Fjell & Fjord Hotel. Hear the history of the famous local cider tradition, taste 3 different local ciders, accompanied by reindeer snacks with traditional flatbread, and savour the local Hardanger apple liquor.

Continue your walk towards the other side of the town and enjoy a marvelous view of your ship lying in the Hardangerfjord between the mountains.

The walk ends at the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 1 kilometre, at times over uneven and natural surfaces. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
