Excursion Excursion to russel glacier (for in-transit guests only) tour at Kangerlussuaq

We drive in big off-road trucks on this unpaved road through a wide variety of the most beautiful natural scenery from Arctic desert to tundra with low growing shrubs and through hilly terrain with a grand view of the edge of the Ice Cap. There are also good chances to see wildlife on this excursion. Photo stops along the way.

After approximately 25 km we leave the truck and hike a guided tour to our goal - the front of the Russell Glacier. Here we stand in front of the 70-meter high glacier.

Following this unique experience we return to Kangerlussuaq.
