Depart the pier for the approximately 90-minutes drive through Palermo, then follow the beautiful coastal highway to Cefalu. Originally an ancient fishing village, Cefalu is today a renowned seaside resort.

Norman-Arab Cathedral

Upon arrival, begin a guided walking tour through the charming streets of Cefalù, with your first stop at the impressive Norman-Arab Cathedral. Famous for its magnificent Byzantine mosaics, including the striking image of Christ Pantocrator, the cathedral stands as a testament to the town’s rich cultural heritage.

Medieval Wash-House and Osterio Magno

Next, explore the medieval wash-house, a unique historical site, and enjoy an exterior visit to the Osterio Magno, the residence of King Ruggero II. After your tour, some free time is made available for exploring the village at your own pace before re-boarding the coach for the approximately one-hour drive back to the pier.
