Westerås Farm
After tendering ashore, board a coach for the uphill transfer past Geiranger's octagonal wooden church and the Union Hotel to Hole, where your adventure begins. An easy 15-minute walk on country roads leads to the Westerås Café, housed in one of the old buildings of the Westerås Farm.
Hike to Storseter Waterfall & Westeråsfjellet Mountain
Here, enjoy a splendid view of the Geirangerfjord. Continue with a 90-minute strenuous hike on steep terrain to the Storseter Waterfall. Next, a hike of 30 minutes takes you to Westeråsfjellet Mountain, which offers a spectacular view of Geiranger some 750 feet (230 metres) below. Returning to the Westerås Café, enjoy Norwegian waffles with coffee or tea.
Afterwards, walk back to the main road and re-join the coach for the short drive back to Geiranger.

Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of activity and is recommended only for those guests who are physically fit and experienced at hiking. Wear hiking boots, dressing in layers and bringing along sun screen or rain gear if necessary. A little waist or back pack may be helpful to carry water from the ship, camera and clothing accessories as needed. Walking is on country road, hiking paths, grass and uneven surface, and uphill and downhill; total walking time is approximately 3 hours. Restrooms are only available at the farm. The order of sites may vary. Local vehicles are utilised; coaches may not be equipped with air-conditioned cooling.
