Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of one of nature’s most spectacular natural wonders: Iguazu Falls, the world’s largest waterfall system and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This 5-day, once-in-a-lifetime adventure commences as you disembark your ship in Ushuaia and travel to Buenos Aires, then onward to explore both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of the extraordinary Falls. Enjoy guided tours of the Falls and the breathtaking landscapes that surround them as well as visits to the Argentine National Park, an immersive visit to the Parque das Aves wildlife sanctuary, a thrilling Macuco Safari boat ride to the base of the Falls, and a scenic tour of Buenos Aires.

This Silver Shore Mid-Land Adventure requires advance booking through Silversea Reservations no later than 90 days prior to the sail date. Requests received after this date may be accommodated on a space-available basis. Tickets are available in limited quantities, and participation cannot be guaranteed for those guests not booking well in advance. A minimum number of participants is required to operate this programme. If this minimum number is not met, Silversea reserves the right to offer the programme at a different rate based on private arrangements or to cancel the specific departure.
Cancellation fee, unless otherwise advised, applies 90 - 0 days prior to the initial sailing date: 100% of the programme fare per person is due.
Payment in full is due within 120 days prior to sailing. Bookings made within 120 days of sailing require full payment within seven days of booking or sooner, as specified by Silversea. Onboard Spending Credit may not be applied to the purchase of this programme.
All Land Adventure fares are subject to change and are not guaranteed until payment is received in full by Silversea. All Land Adventures are non-transferable and non-refundable within 120 days of sailing. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older. All Land Adventures are owned by independent contractors, and Silversea makes no representations and assumes no responsibility for the services provided by these operators. VISA INFORMATION:
Please check with your travel professional for details regarding visa requirements for Brazil and Argentina. It is the responsibility of each guest to obtain all appropriate visas before cruising. **Note that Brazilian consulates will not provide expedited visa services under any circumstances.
LOCAL CURRENCY:
The local currency for Brazil is the Brazilian Real (BRL), and for Argentina, it is the Argentine Peso (ARS). Local ATMs are available in some locations visited, and credit cards are accepted in most larger shops and hotels (a shopping stop is not planned during this programme).
DAY ONE – Sunday, February 16, 2025 – Ushuaia to Buenos Aires
After disembarking the ship in Ushuaia, transfer to the Ushuaia International Airport for your scheduled flight of approximately 3-1/2 hours to Buenos Aires. Arrive in Buenos Aires and be met by your Silversea Representative.
Transfer to the luxurious Casa Lucia Hotel in Buenos Aires and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at the Casa Lucia Hotel.
DAY TWO – Monday, February 17, 2025 – Buenos Aires to Iguazu
After breakfast, check out of the Casa Lucia Hotel and transfer from the hotel to the Buenos Aires Domestic Airport (AEP) for an early morning flight of approximately 2 hours, 50 minutes to Puerto Iguazu (IGR). Arrive in Iguazu and transfer to the Brazilian side of the Falls for a leisurely 2 km walk down from the top, with a unique viewpoint and the resonant sounds of the thundering Falls accompanying your every step. Once at the bottom, take an elevator or walk back up to the top, followed by lunch at the Restaurante Porto Canoas.
Transfer to the iconic Belmond Hotel das Cataratas in Foz Iguazu, Brazil’s only hotel that is directly adjacent to the Falls, and check in. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, followed by dinner at the hotel.

DAY THREE – Tuesday, February 18, 2025 – Iguazu (Argentine Side)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Argentine National Park on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls for a guided tour. Upon arrival at the ticket office, board the gas-propelled eco-train to Devil’s Throat Station. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along a flat catwalk (approximately 2.2 km) toward the Devil’s Throat, where you will be treated to a spectacular view of the Falls from a balcony vantage point. Then, take the train from Devil’s Throat Station to Falls Station.
Explore the Upper Circuit of the Falls, a 1.8 km walking trail within the 50,000-hectare park. Spend approximately 1 hour, 45 minutes taking photos and soaking in the spectacular scenery. This circuit offers unique opportunities to connect with nature as it brings you within a few steps of the thundering cascades. Observe the Falls up close and take in the beauty of its vegetation and bird life as you traverse the footbridges and roadways. Waterproof clothing is a must, as there is an excellent chance of getting wet from the mist. Upon reaching the Visitors Center, you can visit the Nature Interpretation Center of Iguazu National Park including cultural, education and social activities.
Enjoy lunch at Restaurante La Selva or a similar venue, inside the National Park.
Return to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, followed by dinner at the hotel.

DAY FOUR – Wednesday, February 19, 2025 – Iguazu (Brazilian Side)
Following breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full morning of adventure, including a unique bird-watching experience to the Parque das Aves and an exhilarating Macuco Safari boat ride.
Begin your morning at Parque das Aves, a wildlife park renowned for its impressive collection of over 1,300 birds. Wander through expansive aviaries that offer an immersive experience, allowing you to observe these magnificent birds up close.
After exploring the bird park, continue on to the Macuco Safari for a thrilling boat ride along the Iguazu River to the breathtaking Iguazu Falls. Enjoy stunning views of cascading waters and the lush surrounding rainforest in this captivating experience.
After a morning of memorable adventures, return to the hotel for a relaxing lunch.
Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, followed by dinner at the hotel.

DAY FIVE – Thursday, February 20, 2025 – Iguazu to Buenos Aires
Following breakfast, check out and transfer to the Puerto Iguazu Airport in Argentina for your scheduled flight of approximately 1-1/2 hours to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, be met by your Silversea Representative.
Transfer into the city and savor launch at a local restaurant, followed by a Buenos Aires City Highlights tour. Explore La Boca, Buenos Aires' most colorful neighborhood, known for its vividly painted houses and corrugated iron roofs of the Caminito neighborhood. Discover the traditional cafes, street murals and pop-up art galleries of San Telmo, including the historic Market – the Mercade de San Telmo – a National Historic Monument since 2000. Wander through Plaza de Mayo, home to key landmarks such as the Cabildo – a historic building that was originally the seat of the city’s government during the Spanish colonial period - the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the iconic pink Casa Rosada Presidential Palace. Finally, take a drive through Buenos Aires’ elegant neighborhoods of Recoleta and Palermo.
Following the tour, transfer to the pier and embark the ship.

This Mid-Voyage Land Adventure involves extensive walking (approximately 8.6 km) over various terrains, including natural paths, wooden walkways, cobblestones, and inclines. Participants should be in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back, neck, or heart conditions, or guests with neurological conditions. Venues are wheelchair accessible, but the programme is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties, although private programmes may be specially designed for guests with talking difficulties.. Comfortable clothing, non-slip walking shoes, and sun protection are recommended. This tour is also restricted to children under the age of 12. A significant number of stairs are involved to reach the Great Adventure Navigation spot at Iguazu Falls. Guests must carry their passports and ship's ID at all times. The tour sequence, timings, and itinerary may vary.
