Excursion Muir woods & sausalito tour at San Francisco

Venture north across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge for a scenic drive to Muir Woods, home to some of the old-growth giant redwoods. Some of these trees are more than 800 years old and reach over 200 feet in height. You will have approximately 90 minutes to leisurely explore the park along the boardwalks that snake through the park. Most of the best photo opportunities are within a few minutes from the Main Entrance where there is also a Visitor Center which includes a cafe, gift shop, and friendly Park Rangers.

After your visit to see the majestic redwoods, take a scenic drive to the quaint and historic seaside town of Sausalito. Sausalito is known for its Mediterranean feel and charming art galleries, gift shops, and eateries. Following a refreshment at one of the local cafes, you will have approximately 45 minutes to explore the town on your own before rejoining your coach for the return drive to the pier.
