Embrace the scenic beauty and flavours of Grenada during this half-day excursion to the Clark's Court Rum Distillery, and a relaxing visit to a Grenadian Beach.


Clark's Court Rum Distillery

Depart the pier for the brief drive to St. George's, located in the southern part of the island. Upon arrival, proceed for a visit to the Clark's Court Rum Distillery, founded in 1937.


During your guided tour of the factory, learn about the distilling process from sugar cane, syrup and molasses to rum, and also the ageing and blending processes involved in the production of rum. In addition, see old steam engines dating as far back as 1886. Following your guided tour, sample the distillery's award-winning rums and receive recipes describing different ways to mix and serve rum.


Beach

Next, your drive continues on to a white-sand beach graced by crystal-clear waters and almond and coconut trees offering natural shade. Your two-hour visit includes beach chairs, restroom facilities with changing rooms, showers and two complimentary beverages. You can swim, explore the beach, or simply relax with a refreshing drink and soak up the tropical sun. Afterward, re-board your coach for the brief drive back to the pier.

This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but is not wheelchair-accessible. Guests must be at least 21 years old to participate in the tasting's of alcoholic beverages. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, sun protection and bring a towel from the ship.
