The other, the main houses, is a building of great representativeness, as it is currently one of the few examples of colonial architecture from the historical period of the formation of the Parish of Santo Antônio de Lisboa, representing one of the best residence examples of the rural aristocracy in that region.
Casarão Engenho dos Andrade had its golden age in the cycle of cassava flour, sugar cane and coffee.
