Excursion Best of belem with ver-o-peso market visit tour at Belem

Take a walk through this vibrant multicultural city with tree -lined squares, colonial buildings, and the colorful Vero -Peso Market, the largest open-air market in Latin America and a UNESCO world heritage site.. At the market you will not only take in the sights and sounds but sample local culinary as you walk by medicinal herbs, meat, fish, textiles, basketry, açaí berries.

After the market visit, we continue to Belem’s Jeweler Center and visit the Gem Museum exposing a collection with more than four thousand pieces, representing the mineral wealth of the state. From here we visit Mangal das Garças Zoo and Botanical Park, which brings together several species of the native fauna and flora, as well as a bird nursery and a butterfly house. The tour is ending visit to the Basilica de Nazareth before returning to the port.

Please note: A moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 2 km (1.24 miles), with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and the sites visited.
