The bike path is famous for its enormous cliffs, steep mountains and the roaring ocean, perfect for bikers who want to breathe in enjoy the breath-taking view of the fjords and the nature reserve.
Our first stop will be at Ósvör fisherman's Hut, a museum is housing a series of old turf-and-stone fishing shacks explaining the history of the area and the traditional methods for salting fish.
Continue towards Ísafjörður stopping along the way to rest and take some beautiful photographs, including a stop at an elevated viewpoint of the Nature Reserve and the Icefjord deep. Head towards Hnifsdalur, a village of only 250 people to catch a glimpse of its history before continuing the journey.
