Excursion Boa vista do acar tour at Belem

Start your day with a 25 minute bus ride to the local píer where you will then board a traditional wooden boat for a 45 minute trip through the Guamá River towards Boa Vista do Acará Island. During the trip you'll get a a view of life by the river with boats carrying fruits and seeds, fishermen in their canoes fishing for freshwater shrimps, houses on stilts to designed to resist the tide and waves.


Once on the island, you will walk for 30 minutes before arriving in the community where 30 families live from the land and trees. Visit plantations where fresh fruits from the Amazon region like Priprioca, Açaí, Cupuaçu and Biribá are collected and sold for Community survival.


Enjoy a specially prepared lunch by the community where the spices, leaves and herbs produced in the Community will be used to prepare the meal.


After lunch, take some time to rest and enjoy the tall Amazon trees before you head back to Belem to join the ship.
