Begin with a supervised feeding of green sea turtles and sharks in Nursery Bay, then explore the Maui Ocean Centre's laboratory and coral exhibits.

Following your behind-the-scenes tour, proceed for lunch on your own at the Maui Ocean Centre's Seascape restaurant. After lunch, enjoy an unforgettable opportunity to experience the new, 3D, state-of-the-art, Humpbacks of Hawaii Exhibit and Sphere. The Sphere breaks the deep-sea barrier and brings you eye-to-eye with Maui's humpback whales. The mystery and migration of these incredible ocean mammals is presented through interactive exhibits and displays. This virtual experience makes you feel like you are swimming with the whales in their realm beneath the waves, but never have to get wet. The Sphere Show is available every 30 minutes.

Free Time, Live Coral Displays, Shark, Turtle, Stingray & Tropical Fish Exhibits, Gift Shoppe

Next, ample free time is made available for independent shopping and exploration at the Maui Ocean Centre. It is home to one of the world's largest displays of live coral, and features over 60 exhibits with sharks, turtles, stingrays, tropical fish, and more. Whilst journeying from the shallow reef to the open ocean, encounter marine life found nowhere else in the world, and discover the vibrant relationships between the Hawaiian people and the sea. The Maui Ocean Treasures gift shop is also a must-see, with its large selection of Hawaii-made products, jewellery, clothing, toys, and unique souvenirs. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking and standing for approximately one mile (about 1.6 kilometres), at times over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and three-five steps at various exhibits inside the Maui Ocean Centre. Walking at the Maui Ocean Centre is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, bottled water, and US Dollars or credit cards for purchases from the ship. Guests must be at least 6 years old to participate on this tour; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old. Guests must be at least 21 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Lunch and shopping are at each guest's own expense. The Maui Ocean Centre & Sphere is closed on some major holidays. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
