Explore the Bedouin lifestyle and stark beauty of the Arabian Desert during this picturesque, half-day Jeep safari.
Depart the pier in an air-conditioned coach toward Hurghada city for approximately 45-minute drive up to desert entrance where your 4 x 4 Land Cruiser will be waiting for you. Enjoy an approximately 30-minutes drive through the Arabian Desert to the Bedouin camp; the desert drive offers scenic views and photo opportunities.
Upon arrival at the Bedouin camp, you are welcomed by the Bedouins and taken on a tour of their camp whilst learning about their culture and lifestyle. During your visit, sample their famous aromatic tea and flat bread prepared over a wood fire. An optional photo opportunity on the back of one of the camels is available by paying a small token (US $1.00 at the time of printing) to the camel's owner.
At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your Jeep for a drive through the desert to your motor coach followed by a drive back to the pier.

Note
Please note: This tour requires a moderate amount of walking; however, a portion of the drive is on unpaved, bumpy roads, and guests must get on/off the Jeep from the back door, as the vehicle has no side doors. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, back and/or neck problems, or those who utilize a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Bottled water is provided on the Jeeps. Cameras and videotaping are permitted. Guide(s) accompany tour, providing explanations at the stops; each vehicle does not have its own separate guide. Jeeps seat 4-6 guests comfortably. Please note the driving through the desert/sand has to be done at a certain speed in order to ensure that the vehicles are not getting trapped in the sand. The drivers are professionals and well aware of the challenges of driving in the desert.
