Afterward, some free time is made available to browse for whisky and souvenirs in Glengoyne's gift shop. Leaving Glengoyne, re-board your coach and continue on to Loch Lomond. The largest freshwater lake in Britain, Loch Lomond is renowned for its wild beauty and mysterious lochs. A photo stop is made at the lovely Duck Bay Marina, which is nestled amidst spectacular scenery. Your guide also recounts tales of Rob Roy, the famous 17th-century Scottish hero who led the Clan MacGregor into many battles around these valleys. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 1.5-hour drive back to the pier via the serene landscapes and pretty villages of this delightful area.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 766 yards (about 700 metres), at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, and several steep and narrow steps at the distillery. This tour is not suitable for children, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, closed-toe walking shoes. Guests must be at least 18 years old to participate in tastings of alcoholic beverages. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment. From June to August it is usually “Silent Season” for the distillery: during this period, production stops to allow the team to carry out any essential maintenance required.
