Depart the pier by coach and enjoy a short 15 minutes scenic drive through Apia township, arriving at the picturesque Sails by the Sea Restaurant, located on the Mulinuu Peninsula.

Overlooking Samoa Harbour, this waterfront venue provides the perfect setting for a leisurely high tea experience.

Here, enjoy a selection of freshly prepared finger foods, including sandwiches, baked goods, and seasonal fruit. A variety of beverages such as tea, coffee, water, juice, and soft drinks are available on an open-bar basis. Relax, take in the ocean views, and enjoy the serene atmosphere before continuing your sightseeing tour.

Apia Sightseeing & Cathedral Visit

Following high tea, re-board your coach and continue on a panoramic drive through Apia. Pass notable local landmarks before arriving at the St. Theresa Cathedral of the Child Jesus in the village of Lepea. This striking cathedral is renowned for its architectural beauty and interior artwork, including numerous stained-glass windows depicting Biblical scenes interpreted through Samoan imagery. Free time is provided to admire the cathedral and its surroundings.

Local Market Shopping

The tour concludes with a visit to Apia’s bustling local market, where vendors sell fresh produce, handcrafted items, and souvenirs. This is an excellent opportunity to experience local life, browse traditional handicrafts, and purchase keepsakes before re-boarding the coach for the return drive to the ship

Please Note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, approximately 50 metres, primarily over uneven gravel surfaces. Guests must be able to step on and off the coach independently. While ramps are available at the venues, the tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who use a wheelchair, as accessible vehicles are not available in Samoa.

Comfortable casual clothing and flat walking shoes are recommended. This tour does not operate on Sundays or public holidays. Photography and video recording are permitted at all sites.
