Excursion Horseback riding in paternoster tour at Cape Town

Explore the beauty of Paternoster and the spectacular Cape West Coast on a horse. The Drikus horse-farm is located just between Paternoster and Stompneusbaai, right in the middle of the Cape West Coast. The ride starts at the farm, so you get the chance to experience the West Coast farmlands before reaching the beach.

This scenic area has an abundance of natural vegetation as well as spectacular bird life. Common sightings include Kingfishers, Grey herons and Vervet monkeys. Occasionally if lucky enough to see African fish eagles, Blue duiker and crowned cranes. Riders of all levels of experience are welcome to enjoy this trail.

At the end of your activity meet with the fellow guests to enjoy the Braai experience at Cape Colombine Reserve.

(Guests will be split into 2 groups. One group will starts the experience from the farm while the  other group from the beach.)

Please note: This excursion is recommended to guests who are in fit physical shape and are able to  ride a horse. Guests are advised this excursion is not an horseback riding course. This excursion involves a moderate to extensive amount of activity and driving transfers of approximately 30/40 minutes each way. Comfortable clothing, sun hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera are recommended. Guests must be at least six years old to participate on this tour; minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. The weight limit for horseback riding is 220 pound.
