Hvanneyrarskál Hike

Depart on foot from the pier, following your local hiking guide on this spectacular hike, overlooking the fjord. The hike takes approximately 2 hours, covering around 5km and climbing approximately 150m above sea level. Enjoy excellent views over the town and across the fjord, while your guide will share information and stories about the area along the way. The climbing path goes through the "avalanche garden" trails, and is on a wide but rocky track.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 3miles (about 5 kilometres), over uneven, natural surfaces and steep inclines. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition, and able to hike uphill. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing in layers with non-slip hiking boots, and bring sun protection, bottled water, a weatherproof jacket. Guests must be at least 8 years old to participate on this tour. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions.
