Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute morning drive. Upon arrival, receive your safety and hiking instructions, then begin your guided, approximately 2.6-mile (about 4.2 kilometers) into the rainforest at an elevation of (about 150 metres). Loose rocks, uneven, dirt and gravel paths, and hilly terrain are parts of the trek.

Your early start offers an opportunity to hear the morning symphony of the rainforest whilst exploring and learning about the fascinating lowland rainforest of Langkawi, a delicate rainforest habitat that is very importantly to the region's eco-system. This rainforest is one of the nation's most complex, dense, and species-rich forests, with a wide array of flora and fauna species. Rattan, strangling figs, and lianas are among the species of plants commonly found along your trail. In addition, take in captivating views of gigantic trees, wild flowers, and beautiful streams, and breathe in the fresh air.

Your tour concludes with an approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of walking for approximately 2.6 miles (about 4.2 kilometres), at times over uneven, rocky, slippery, wooden, and natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable cotton clothing with flat, non-slip, and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent and bottled water from the ship.
