Excursion Powerboat and sculpture park snorkelling tour at St. George's Island

Departing from the jetty next to the ship's pier, set off on a fast and fun ride over the crystal waters of the Caribbean. After a short safety briefing, head north along Grenada's sheltered western coast. During your tour learn about the Spice Isle; the ecology, wildlife, geography and local history of Grenada.

Grenada Underwater Sculpture Park Snorkelling

The boat stops for approximately 40 minutes so snorkellers may explore one of Grenada's foremost snorkel site: Grenada Underwater Sculpture Park, the world's first underwater sculpture gallery. After the bay got damaged by storm surge, the sculptures were designed to assist in the regeneration of the area by providing habitat for marine life and by providing new surfaces for corals to grow upon.

Receive your snorkel gear and safety instructions before commencing your guided snorkel tour. Non snorkellers are free to stay on board and enjoy a soft drink with your Captain.

After your snorkel, recharge with a soft drink before racing off for another hour of fun exploring and capturing some great photo opportunities.

Your tour visits the historic town of St George's where you cruise the protected inner harbor of one of the prettiest towns in the Caribbean, before one last blast back to the dock to disembark.

Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of activity. Guests are required to sign a waiver to participate in this tour. Guests must be in good physical condition, able to swim and negotiate a swim ladder to re-board the boat after the snorkelling stop. All necessary snorkelling equipment is provided, along with instructions on its use. It is suggested guests wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, sun protection and bring a towel from the ship. Itinerary and snorkel site are subject to change due to sea and weather conditions. The minimum age to participate is 8 years old. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women. The maximum weight for participants is 275 pounds (125 kilograms or 20 Stone). The boat offers only minimal shade.
