This scenic rural adventure begins with a relaxed 45-minute coach drive up into the rolling hills, olive groves, and picturesque villages scattered above Salerno. Your destination is Vini Guerritore, a historic family-owned winery known for producing the highest quality wines using traditional methods and handpicked grapes. You’ll meet the proprietors and, led by a knowledgeable guide, enjoy a tour of the vineyards. Walk among these lush vines and learn about the winery’s history, its unique silt/clay volcanic terroir, and the ceaseless care lavished upon the three distinct grape varieties grown and vinified here: Fiano, Aglianico, and Merlot.  

Afterwards, explore the cellars where the various appellations are crafted and aged. And prepare your palate for some serious pleasure as you sit down for a guided winetasting session. You sample a thoughtfully curated selection of Guerritore's finest bottles, each paired with locally sourced ‘starter snacks’ that complement their flavor profile. Typical sessions include three different wines and delectable bites. Experienced in combination, they provide a clear sense of the distinct flavors and aromas of Amalfi.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking at times over uneven, gravel and cobblestone surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and few steps at the sites visited. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
