Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately one-hour drive across a picturesque landscape of lakes, forested hills and small farms to Evje, and a visit to the Troll Aktiv Rafting Centre. Upon arrival, meet your guides and receive your safety instructions and equipment, including a wetsuit, windproof jacket, safety helmet, safety vest, and wetsuit boots.


Panoramic Rafting-Ride, Otra Valley, Local Flora and Fauna

After donning your gear and conducting basic rafting and paddling instructions on flat water, embark your raft and set off for a panoramic ride down the beautiful Otra Valley. En route, enjoy a unique opportunity to experience the local flora and fauna from up-close.


White-Water Rafting, Setesdal Valley, Refreshments

Each raft accompanies five-eight passengers, along with a guide. The Otra Valley features Class III and IV white-water rafting, offering an ideal mix for both novices and experienced rafters alike during an approximately 2.5-hour float down the exquisite Setesdal Valley. At the conclusion of your rafting adventure, return to the Troll Active Centre for refreshments, then commence the approximately 45-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity for approximately and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 328 yards (about 300 metres), at times over sandy and natural ground, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the raft. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition and can swim well. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory problems, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, closed-toe walking shoes you won't mind getting wet, and bring sun protection, a towel, change of clothing, bottled water, and a weatherproof jacket from the ship. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour; minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years old. This rafting tour operates in five-eight-passenger rafts. Guests weighing over 264 pounds (about 120 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife and marine life sightings are not guaranteed. All safety and rafting equipment, including wetsuits, windproof jacket, safety helmet, safety vests, and wetsuit boots, is provided. A safety vest must be worn at all times whilst rafting. Each raft holds 5 to 6 guests. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
