Your half-day excursion features a guided stroll through the Medina and bustling Grand Socco Souk. Then, you're welcomed with mint tea before the interactive cooking class, where you'll learn how to make Moroccan home cooking favorites such as chicken tagine and freshly baked bread. Finish it all with a meal of the delicious dishes you helped prepare.
Tangier, Medina, Grand Socco Souk
Depart the pier for the short drive to the Medina, the old citadel of Tangier, where you will enjoy a guided walking tour. Your first stop is at the bustling souk, Grand Socco, home to a kaleidoscope of color, charm, street musicians, a fish market, scenic handicrafts, and spices.
Interactive Cooking Class, Local Spice Shop, Fresh Mint Tea, Moroccan Meal
At the cooking school, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing mint tea, followed by an interactive cooking class in their dedicated cooking studio. Learn about the spices and methods used in the creation of chicken tagine and Moroccan bread with a visit to the local wood-burning oven and spice shop. After the cooking class, you are served a meal consisting of the dishes you have helped to prepare, plus tea and Moroccan pastries. Fully satiated, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.5 miles (about 0.8 kilometres), at times over uneven, unpaved and cobblestone surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the sites visited.
