Relax as your journey through the spectacular scenery of the Nordfjord region.

This scenic excursion starts in the charming village of Olden right at the head of the Nordfjord penetrating some 110 kilometres deep into the country.

Winding your way through the quaint villages and rugged mountains,enjoy a photo stop at Robjørgane. Continue to Nos viewpoint, boasting magnificent views from over 1,600 feet above sea level.

Hornindal Lake

After admiring your remarkable surroundings, you journey will continue along the stunning fjord. As you approach the end of Nordfjord, turn inland via Nordfjordeid towards Lake Hornidal. As well as Europe's deepest lake (1,686 ft), this vast body of water is Europe's clearest lake, as is contains no glacial runoff.

Finally, with lake panoramas framed by snow-capped mountains, make your way back to the pier.

A refreshment break with coffee/tea and Norwegian cake is made during the tour.

Note

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking and is recommended for mobility challenged guests or guests who utilise a wheelchair as long as they can negotiate the steps on and off the coach. Weather appropriate clothing, preferably in layers and weather proof (rain jacket and trouser in case of rain) with flat, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended. The tour includes several tunnels and is not suitable for guests suffering from vertigo.
