Haggis and Scotland go hand in hand.  On this immersive experience, visit a sheep farm to learn more about the mystical haggis.

Sheep Farm

This experience begins with a drive to Balfron in Stirlingshire and to an authentic working sheep farm and shooting lodge on the edge of the Trossachs National Park.  During a welcome with tea, coffee, and shortbread, enjoy an entertaining introduction to the mythical haggis.  You will learn more about the origins of this truly Scottish dish as well as delving into the history of the sheep farm and its surrounding area.

Haggis Making Workshop

Next move onto the Haggis itself.  Learn about the spices that give it a unique flavour and watch the making of a haggis by a Master Haggis Maker.  And of course, don’t forget the traditional accompaniments to a haggis….’neeps and tatties’. Learn more about these tasty dishes too.

We finish the experience with a delicious lunch of fresh Scottish haggis with neeps and tatties.
