Please note: A moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 1.5 km (0.9 miles). At times over gravel paths, uneven surfaces and historic wooden steps, some sections may be slippery depending on weather conditions. Good walking or hiking shoes are recommended. The short transfer to the trail outside town will be conducted via school buses. Walking in town is at is at the discretion of each guest. Local infrastructure is basic, and local road conditions are unpredictable and may be challenging. Guides, equipment, and services are the best available on the island but may not be up to the standards of those found on other excursions therefore we urge flexibility and understanding as we visit unique and somewhat remote destinations. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed toe walking shoes or hiking boots, sun protection and insect repellant are recommended.
