Excursion Val de saire exploration tour at Cherbourg

The name Val de Saire evokes wonderful scenic images not only of the delightful Saire Valley, but of the whole northeast of the peninsula.

From Cherbourg you will drive to Barfleur and straight back to the Middle Ages.

Located on the coast of the Val de Saire, Saint Vaast is a pleasant harbor, famous not only for its oysters but also popular as a seaside resort. The fortifications that protect the port date back to 17th century, rebuilt following the stunning defeat at the naval battle of La Hougue.
