Valldemossa and Carthusian Monastery

Meet your guide and start the 40-minute drive to Valldemossa, one of the most beautiful villages on the island. Nestled in a valley on the northern mountain range of Mallorca, Valldemossa is surrounded by mountains and woodland. Upon arrival, visit the famous Carthusian Monastery, which is now a museum. Afterward, some free time is made available for browsing and exploring Valldemossa at your leisure, and shopping for local handicrafts such as ceramics, honey, olive wood goods and almond oil beauty treatments.

House Museum of Son Marroig

Reboard the coach and drive 15 minutes to Son Marroig. Enjoy wonderful views and photo opportunities of Majorcan's northern coastline and visit the House and gardens.

A fundamental character in the cultural and patronage history of the last years of the 19th century and the first years of the last century, the House Museum of Son Marroig offers a visit to this former property of the Archduke. Its large museum room is dedicated to him, where you can find: drawings, books and his personal effects. Its main objective is to make all visitors aware of the work carried out by this creator of the best written work on our islands: the "Die Balearen", his love for nature and his commitment to respecting our history.

Canvases by Joaquín Mir, Antonio Ribas Oliver, Antonio Ribas Prats, Bauzá, Erwin Hubert, Pizá, etc. hang on its walls. In its showcases we can find ancient necklaces and Phoenician objects as well as Greek and Roman ceramics. An alabaster Virgin from the 13th century, Roman amphorae, old Majorcan furniture, Greek statuettes and Majorcan fabrics make up the great museum room.

The visit to the house is completed with a tour of its gardens, where the Archduke left his mark: with its immense cistern, the "Des Galliner" viewpoint, the Carrara marble Ionic temple with the imposing mass of La Foradada at its feet, from where one of the best views of the Majorcan North Coast is contemplated.

At the end of your visit, proceed to the bus for the 45-minute drive back to Palma de Mallorca.
