Discover three icons of this one great city - its imposing skyline and city heart, its famous Bondi Beach and the Sydney Opera House. Take in the history and stunning views and learn about the fashionable suburbs in the east of the city during this half-day orientation tour.
Sydney Opera House
Depart the pier in Sydney for an orientation drive through the city. Your tour commences with a visit to the Sydney Opera House, officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973, and one of Sydney's most famous landmarks. You will stop for a guided tour of this imposing building with its distinctive sail-like roof and learn about its history, design and current role.
The Rocks
Travel through Sydney's oldest village, The Rocks. This historic enclave is nestled in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and depicts the heritage of two centuries along its narrow twisting streets. See a splendid mix of Victorian-era buildings alongside modern-day structures. During your drive through the city centre, your guide points out the magnificent Sydney Tower the Queen Victoria Building.
Sydney Harbour
The coach continues east of the city to the most sought-after residential areas in Sydney. From Darling Point to Watson's Bay, the shoreline is fringed by vast mansions and expensive apartments overlooking a flotilla of yachts and cruising boats moored along the harbour's edge.
Bondi Beach
Carry on to Bondi Beach, a world-renowned surfing haven featuring delightful cafés and restaurants along its main streets. Disembark the coach for approximately 45 minutes at leisure to take some photos, stroll along the famous promenade, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafés (own expense). Admire the views as you head down the narrow streets of Paddington, which are lined with picturesque terraces framed with iron-laced balconies, sandstone houses, designer boutiques, art galleries, and cafés.
Afterwards, the coach takes you back to the pier.

Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of walking, with a distance of approximately 1095 yards (1000 metres) from the coach's pick-up and drop-off point to the Opera House. The Opera House has more than 200 steps throughout the venue and is not wheelchair accessible. This tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. The order of sites visited may vary. Guests are advised to wear comfortable footwear and we recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses from the ship.
