Newly-designed especially for our valued World Cruise guests, your World Cruise Collection tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the streets and landmarks of Buenos Aires as seen through the eyes of Evita Peron. Along the way, learn about her early beginnings and work as a stage, radio and film actress en route to becoming the First Lady of Argentina. In addition, learn about her untimely death at the age of 33, saintly aura and the secrets behind the myth.

Plaza de Mayo, Presidential Palace, Recoleta Cemetery, Evita's Tomb

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to the Plaza de Mayo, the political heart of Argentina. Upon arrival, see the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), and the famous balcony from which Evita addressed her adoring fans. From here, re-board your coach and continue on to the Recoleta Cemetery for a visit to Evita's Tomb.

Evita Museum, Museum Café, Evita Performance, Refreshments, Lecture by a Museum Expert

Your last stop is at the Evita Museum, where the story of her life unfolds through her personal objects. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of the museum, which is housed in a mansion where her charity, the Eva Peron Foundation, once gave shelter to single mothers. During your museum visit, or in Recoleta, enjoy a short 'Evita' performance. Afterward, proceed the museum's café for refreshments and a lecture by one of the museum's experts. Following your visit, your World Cruise Collection tour concludes with an approximately 45-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This World Cruise Collection tour involves a moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 0.5 miles (about 0.8 kilometres), at times over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and 10-15 steps at the Evita Museum. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but is not wheelchair-accessible. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Guests must be at least five years old to participate on this tour. Photography/videography of certain exhibits (Evita's dresses, costumes, etc.) in the museum is prohibited. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
