Excursion Dinner & tango show el aljibe tour at Buenos Aires

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

In the late-19th century, Buenos Aires was becoming an immigrant city where frustrated and melancholic Europeans displaced gaucho rustics, who gradually retreated to the distant countryside. The children of these immigrants became the first generation of porteños, and the tango epitomised their new urban lifestyle. Permeated with nostalgia over a disappearing way of life, the tango expressed their fears, anxieties and passions, and eventually evolved into one of the world's most renowned dance forms.

Depart the pier for the short drive to El Aljibe Tango House. Located at the heart of San Telmo Neighborhood. Upon arrival, you are seated and served dinner. Afterward, take in a splendid performance of traditional tango dancing, with musical accompaniment provided by tango singers and an orchestra.
