Excursion Fortaleza and nature stroll at cocó ecological park tour at Fortaleza

Combine city, seaside, and stunning nature on this half day excursion as you enjoy a panoramic drive along the coastline with bustling beach scenes, stop at the lush Sabiaguaba mangroves and sand dunes, and visit Parque do Cocó for a tropical walk.

Drive past Praia do Futuro (Futuro Beach) to see its fresh, white sands and swaying palms, until you reach the Sabiaguaba mangrove and dunes. Take photos at the Sabiaguaba mangrove, a preserved site within the city of Fortaleza, and then climb to the top of the tall sand dunes for views of the city.

Continue to Parque do Cocó, with its beautifully preserved flora and fauna, to stroll the small trails and admire the tropical vegetation. Afterwards, relax on a panoramic drive (non-stop), passing by Praia de Iracema and Praia do Meireles while returning to port.

Please note: A moderate amount of walking 1 km (0.62 miles) with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. The climbing of the dunes is o is at the discretion of each guest; Guests must be in good physical condition to climb the sand dunes. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection is recommended. The tour sequence may vary.
