Excursion High tea on the sea tour at Hamilton Island
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Experience the Whitsunday Islands in an elegant new way during this picturesque and relaxing cruise aboard an exclusive vessel.
After tendering from the ship to the Hamilton Island Wharf, commence your scenic, approximately two-hour narrated cruise aboard the Denison Star. This magnificent, 107-foot Huon pine motor cruiser is steeped in tradition, and has been luxuriously re-appointed and re-designed. The lower deck is fully air-conditioned, and the upper deck features an outside area shaded by a canopy. An Australian icon in timber boats, the Denison Star is the largest Huon pine vessel to be built in Australia and combines traditional-style cruising with modern-day comfort.
Leaving Hamilton Island, pass by the tropical resorts, lush green islands and secluded beaches of the adjacent Whitsunday Islands, and learn about their history. Morning or afternoon tea is served on board the vessel, and accompanied by muffins, cookies or cake. Your Whitsunday Island cruise concludes back at the Hamilton Island Wharf. Upon arrival, disembark the vessel and tender back to the ship.
Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of activity, with a few steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the vessel. Guests must be able to embark/disembark the vessel without assistance. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility and who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, non-slip boat shoes and sun protection are recommended. This tour departs from the Hamilton Island Wharf.
