Depart the pier for a picturesque drive of approximately one hour through the fertile Aegean countryside, passing olive groves and traditional villages. Your guide sets the stage with stories of the region’s rich historical tapestry, preparing guests for a journey back in time.

Ancient Miletus and Miletus Museum

Arrive at Miletus, once a thriving center of trade, philosophy, and culture in the classical world. Explore the ancient theater, imagine civic life and performances of millennia past, and view the ruins of agoras, temples, and baths. A visit to the Miletus Museum allows guests to view carefully curated artifacts such as statues, inscriptions, and pottery, illuminating the city’s profound legacy.

Temple of Apollo at Didyma

Savor a leisurely gourmet lunch at D-Marin Yacht Club, with the sparkling Aegean as your stunning backdrop.

After lunch, re-board the coach for a scenic 90-minutes’ drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.62 miles (1 km) at times over rough, uneven, and marble surfaces, with several steps to negotiate when entering/exiting the ruins and the museum. Walking at Miletus and Didyma is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who use a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Guests must be at least 8 years old to participate. The sequence of visits may vary for operational reasons. Space is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
