Excursion Perivolos beach escape tour at Santorini

Take a break from sightseeing and unwind at one of Santorini's fabled beaches.

Perivolos Beach

The picturesque beach of Perivolos lies on the southern end of the island, 11 kilometers away from the port of Athinios. The beach distinguishes for its sparkling azure blue waters and tranquil atmosphere. On the beachfront there are numerous taverns, pubs and restaurants serving fresh fish and local delicacies.

Transfer to the Beach & Free Time

Depart the ship by a local tender to Athinios, where you join the waiting motor coach for approximately 30-minute drive to the Perivolos beach. Here, enjoy some free time at your leisure and pace. Sunbathe, relax in the shade of an umbrella, swim in the azure Aegean Sea or stroll the long stretch of black sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas will be provided for you.

After approximately three hours on the beach, re-join your coach at the appointed place and time for the return transfer to the pier.

Note

Please note: Tour involves minimal walking; however guests must be able to negotiate few steps to board the tender boat and a coach.  Guests should wear their swimsuit under a cover-up, ample sun protection and bring a towel from the ship. During the summer months, especially July and August the beach gets quite crowded. There is no lifeguard on duty, swimming is at guest's own risk. Beach amenities include refreshment/snack bars. Only Euro currency is accepted. The operation of this programme is weather dependent. Please note that at the conclusion of the tour you will have an option to remain in the town of Fira for self-exploration. Guests will have to make their own way to the tender boats from Fira using a cable car. Cable car ticket costs 10.00 Euros one way. Long lines for the cable cars may be encountered during the busy summer season.
