Important Details

• This tour involves approximately 100 meters (110 yards) of walking and about 30 steps. The Qaitbay Citadel area includes stone and paved surfaces, with some uneven sections and changes in level.

• Guests using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or those who have difficulty climbing steps should not participate in this tour. The carriage ride is not considered wheelchair accessible.

• Guests must be able to step up into and out of a traditional horse-drawn carriage, normally with assistance. Horse-drawn carriages generally accommodate up to two guests.

• Wear smart-casual, comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes with good grip. A light jacket or wrap may be useful in the evening near the waterfront.
