Please Note: This exerience is non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise. It involves a moderate amount of activity, including approximately 0.5 kilometres (about 0.3 miles) of walking and negotiating several steps throughout the experience. Walking surfaces may be slippery at the oyster farm and during the oyster raft cruise. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or guests who utilise a wheelchair. As this experience includes a visit to an active oyster farming site and boarding a working vessel, lightweight, comfortable clothing and flat, closed-toe walking shoes with good grip are strongly recommended. Guests should not mind clothing or footwear becoming wet during the visit. The proximity of the boat to the Great Torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine may vary depending on tidal conditions on the day of operation. Dietary restrictions must be communicated to Silversea in advance; however, no guarantee can be made that all requests can be accommodated, and last-minute requests may not be accepted. Guests with shellfish allergies should carefully consider participation in this programme. Shoes must be removed before entering the lunch venue. Photography and videography are permitted throughout the tour; however, flash photography is not allowed. Japanese Yen is recommended for purchases, although credit cards may be accepted at some venues. Local guides may have strong regional accents; therefore, we appreciate guests' flexibility and understanding. Infrastructure, services, and facilities in the area reflect local standards and may differ from those found in larger cities or more developed destinations.
