A beautiful ship, highly recommended, with wonderful shows and top-quality restaurants. In particular, I really appreciated the Red Velvet restaurant, especially the work and helpfulness of the waiters Ajay (Singh Walter) and Barbara (Assistant Waiter).
From a logistical point of view, the ship is well designed, but it should be significantly modernized. Both the common areas and the cabins do not meet MSC standards.
Very successful.
Fantasia is starting to feel like an older ship, but it is still constantly maintained. Unfortunately, most of the inconveniences are due to the lack of manners of some guests. This is especially noticeable in the SPA, where some people clearly have no idea how to use the saunas and the relaxation loungers, treating the area instead as an entertainment room, with mobile phones, videos, and so on. This is a real shame for those who use the SPA properly. The cruise line should review the rules for this area. The cabin and restaurant staff were very good.
All decks and public areas are well maintained. Lounges, pools, and spaces are very comfortable. Restaurants and service are excellent. Very chic décor. The cabin was a bit disappointing: worn curtain and a broken wardrobe drawer; the bathroom was not very comfortable, the shower had a rather mediocre curtain, and the shampoo was not replaced when it ran out.
The main issue is the elevators. With two strollers, I had no choice but to use them, and I can’t tell you how long I had to wait there. Otherwise, the cabins are a bit dated but still well maintained. The whole ship shows its age, but it is nonetheless well kept.
The ship “Fantasia” is in excellent condition and you feel safe on board.
Major refurbishment works will be carried out on the ship shortly. I hope the Spa will ALSO be upgraded with the addition, AS ON ALL OTHER SHIPS, of whirlpools.
A beautiful ship with excellent entertainment. However, the dining room staff at breakfast were rude.
Beautiful, elegant.
Clean and beautiful
