On this full day excursion, travel to Santo Antonio de Lisboa, remarkable place for its colorful houses with windows and doors painted in bold colors, a legacy of the Azorean culture. After a walking tour of the town, board a private boat to visit an oyster farm. The tour includes lunch at Lisboa 48 Restaurant.


Santo Antônio de Lisboa, Bridge Hercílio Luz

Depart from Porto Belo towards Florianopolis the capital of Santa Catarina. After a 1 ½ hour drive you will arrive at the island and you will see the Bridge Hercílio Luz that was built in 1926. Drive to the North Coast of the island to Santo Antonio de Lisboa Santo Antônio de Lisboa is one of the oldest districts in Florianópolis. Located in the northwest of Santa Catarina Island, it is located 15 kms from the Center. The district played an important role in the colonization of the city and still preserves many historic houses and buildings. Sto. Antônio is a mandatory ticket for anyone visiting the capital of Santa Catarina. Formerly the neighborhood was called the parish of Nossa Senhora das Necessidades and was one of the main ports of entry for immigrants in the region, coming mainly from the Azores Island, in Portugal. It has also served as a port and customs post, receiving foreign merchants and vessels. One of the most striking features of Santo Antônio de Lisboa is the colorful houses with windows and doors painted in bold colors, a legacy of Azorean culture. The neighborhood is one of the main gastronomic centers of the city, with dozens of restaurants, most of them specializing in seafood. Cultivation of seafood and oysters supply many restaurants. You will visit the historical centre with your guide who will introduce you to the history and traditions of the area with its old houses, which are an attraction in itself. You will also learn about the local handcrafts.


Oyster Tasting

Embark on a private boat to visit an oyster farm for 45 minutes. You will then have lunch at the Lisboa 48 Restaurant. Santo Antônio de Lisboa which is the largest producer of oysters in Brazil.


After lunch return to Pier
