Gun Hill Signal Station
Depart the pier for the brief, scenic drive to the Gun Hill Signal Station. Located in the centre of the island, Gun Hill was a former military post and lookout during World War II, and offers wonderful panoramic views of the island.
St. John's Parish Church
Next, re-board your coach and proceed to St. John's Parish Church, located approximately 800 feet (about 244 metres) above sea level. Here, take in stunning vistas and photo opportunities overlooking the Atlantic Coast and southernmost tip of Barbados. Your guided tour also includes a visit to the burial place of Ferdinando Paleolgus, a descendent of Emperor Constantine the Great, whose family was driven from the throne of Constantinople by the Turks.
Orchid World
After a short coach ride, visit the gardens at Orchid World. Walk along meandering pathways and enjoy thousands of Orchids as well as the stunning views in the Orchid houses. The views of the coast line from this enchanting tropical flower garden are spectacular. Enjoy a complimentary beverage before commencing your drive back to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 400 yards (0.4 kilometres), at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and 10 steps into the Tower at Gun Hill. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended; camouflage clothing is not permitted. Sequence of the sites visited may vary.
