Begin with a short drive from the pier through Bonaire’s capital, then continue along the striking northern coast. Keep an eye out for fossils embedded in limestone, towering candelabra cacti, 'divi divi' trees, diverse bird species, and ocean vistas. A photo stop is made at Goto Lake, a beautiful saltwater lake and flamingo feeding ground.
Rincon Village & ChiChiTan
Re-board your coach for a scenic drive along tree-lined country lanes, passing by Dos Pos, a natural water source for animals. Arrive in Rincon Village, a 14th-century settlement rich in legend. Visit ChiChiTan, a traditional Bonairian house-turned-museum, and sample locally produced cactus liqueur. Relax in the shaded garden and browse for cold drinks and snacks.
Coastal Drive, Salt Ponds & Slave Huts
Continue your journey with a picturesque coastal drive, taking in sweeping ocean views and lush hills. Head south for a photo stop at the salt flats and learn about salt production, historically mined by slaves in the 17th century. Visit the original slave huts, built as shelters for enslaved workers.
Return to Pier
After your cultural and scenic exploration, re-board your coach for the scenic drive back to the pier along the coast, with memories of Bonaire’s natural beauty and history.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 300 yards (about 275 metres), with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, animal and flamingo sightings are not guaranteed.
