This lovely forest is part of the Parco Delta del Po, an enchanting national wildlife reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Parco Delta del Po is rich with several natural environments, including woods, pinewoods, basins and wetlands, and boasts more than 970 plant species and 300 bird species. Its rich diversity makes the Parco Delta del Po the most important Italian bird sanctuary, and among the most prominent in Europe.

Next, your expert-level bicycle tour also explores the shores of the picturesque Baiona Lagoon, along with ponds, sand dunes and canals. From here, pass by the 'casoni', traditional houses that are utilized for living and fishing, and representative of a culture strongly connected to the water. A relaxing refreshment stop is then made at one of the most frequented beach resorts along the Marina Romea coast. Enjoy a glass of wine accompanied by local specialties that include 'piadina' bread, ham, salami and cheese. Afterward, commence the short bicycle-ride back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of bicycling with a Mountain bike for approximately 18.6 miles (about 30 kilometres), mostly over unpaved, off-road trails. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition, and able to ride a bicycle for long distances. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guest with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable sportswear with flat, closed-toe sport shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, a towel and change of clothing from the ship. Guests must be at least 18 years old to participate on this tour. Guests must be at least 21 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. The maximum recommended height for guests participating on this tour is approximately 6.07 feet (about 1.85 metres). Guests exceeding that height should inform the Shore Concierge desk onboard in order to be provided with a suitable bicycle. Depending on height, the weight of each female guest should not exceed 165 pounds (about 74.8 kilograms), and the weight of each male guest should not exceed 200 pounds (about 90.7 kilograms) to participate on this tour. A headset and safety helmet are provided; the safety helmet must be worn at all times whilst bicycling. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour.
